Slavery Today: Fundamentals about Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is a contemporary phenomenon that has slaved too very many girls, women, boys and men around the world.  While there are international and national laws in place to stop slavery, the extreme exploitation and the buying and selling of human beings continues to be on the rise.
Come join Dr. Roberta Villalon from the Sociology & Anthropology Department to learn about  the most fundamental aspects of human trafficking as you move forward in the reading of Kristoff's Half the Sky.

Thursday September 20th at Common hour in the Writing Center.
